CFR Part 107 Certification Course
According to the Federal Aviation Association (FAA), all pilots flying sUAS (Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems) for commercial use must be licensed under CFR Part 107. To receive this certification, pilots need to pass the FAA’s Remote Pilot Knowledge Test. This certificate demonstrates that you understand the regulations, operating requirements, and procedures for safely flying drones.
Our class equips participants with the knowledge needed to pass the test and receive their sUAS Pilot’s License. Training is conducted by an FAA-certified Gold Seal Flight Instructor.
This course covers:

FAA regulations relating to the sUAS rating privileges, limitations, and operations.

Airspace classifications, operating requirements, and flight restrictions.

The effect of different kinds of weather on small unmanned aircraft performance.

Aircraft loading and performance.

In-air emergency procedures.

Crew Resource Management (CRM).

Radio communication procedures.

Determining the performance of small unmanned aircraft.

Drugs, alcohol and their effects on pilots.

Effective aeronautical decision making and judgment.

Airport operations.
-
Maintenance and preflight inspection procedures.

Students are given a comprehensive study guide with practice exams in each section.

A final practice exam is given at the end of the final day.

Requirements:
